Workshop Rotation Station Sunday School is available for kindergarten through eighth grade children. Each Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The Workshop Rotation Model teaches Bible stories and concepts through kid-friendly, multimedia workshops. Here at Westminster, the workshops will be: "Thou Art," art/cooking; "Kingdom.com," computer; "Act upon Your Faith," storytelling/drama; "REAL to REEL," movies/videos; and "Moved by the Spirit," games/music/movement. The same Bible story is taught in all workshops for five weeks with each age group rotating to a different workshop each week. The same teacher is in each workshop for all five weeks and he or she teaches the same lesson each week adapting it to the age group.

The theme for our Sunday School program is Faith Trek - A Journey of Faith. The hallways of the Christian Education building are alive with murals of Old and New Testament stories that depict our faith journey beginning with the Creation, journeying with favorite biblical characters, including Noah, Abraham and Sarah, transitioning to the New Testament with paintings depicting the birth of Jesus and his life on earth, ending with the Crucifixion and Resurrection story. Rooms are converted to carry out the theme of the program and each workshop. For example in "Kingdom.com," the room is a computer center where bible stories, maps and games come alive on the computer screen. Youth Sunday School, Grades 6-7 and 8-12
This class meets each Sunday morning in our youth house from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with teacher, Betsy Tucker. IT curriculum from Group Publishing is customized to meet the educational needs of the group.

We are blessed to have so many opportunities for learning during our Sunday School hour. Visit the calendar to learn more about our Adult Sunday School classes. Sunday School begins a 9:30 a.m.each Sunday (we do take a little time off during the summer). Please feel welcome to visit a Sunday School class, and ask an usher or greeter or just about anyone if you need help finding a classroom.
