Pre-K

The Pre-K class will begin a new unit titled Jesus Appears to His Followers. Preschoolers will hear how the disciples coped with Jesus' death, witnessed his resurrection appearance, and experienced the coming of the Holy Spirit. They'll learn that Jesus wants us to believe in him and tell the world about his wonderful love.

Shana Moore is the teacher for this group of young disciples.

 

Workshop Rotation - Jesus' Big Words

The passages for this workshop teach us about God by teaching us how to be God's community in the world. The first passage, Matthew 5:13-16, teaches us that God's community extends to the entire world and our calling as the church is to make God's love known, seen, and heard throughout the world. God calls us to witness to the world.

With the second passage, Matthew 5:38-42, we learn how we are to relate to others. Just as God showers us with more grace than we deserve and even more than we ask for, we should do the same for others. God calls us to be peacemakers in the world.

The final passage, from Matthew 6, reminds us to trust that God will care for us.
