Mission Projects
Our youth have participated in various mission projects over the last several years. In particular, this summer some of our youth traveled to Fort Worth, Texas to participate in the UM Army. Also this past summer, our youth went on a mission trip to the Sunny Glen Children's Home in Benito, Texas. The youth took on several projects to improve the buildings at the home and also enjoyed fellowship with the children who live there. Our youth regularly participate in the Habitat for Humanity project in Nacogdoches. They made and sold brown bag lunches on Super Bowl Sunday and donated the proceeds to the HOPE Center in Nacogdoches.
The youth group is currently fundraising for Mission Trip 2008 to Galveston, Texas. See the youth calendar for monthly community service projects.
